Dr. Daniel Diaz likes to be called simply “Daniel.” He took a year off from his dental school studies to travel around the world and realized doing dentistry by itself wasn’t going to fulfill his life as tourism became his other big passion. He dedicated his holidays from dental school to leading trips around Latin America for various tour companies.

Passionate about both professions, together with Dr. Patricio Quevedo, his dentist, friend and partner, they came to the idea of combining both tourism and dentistry, creating “Dental Tourism in Peru.”

The term “Dental Tourism” in brief refers to the increasing tendency among people from the first world, where dental services have become less affordable, to look for more affordable dentistry options in other countries where dental services are as good as in the first world but less expensive. These services are often complemented with tourism packages designed specially for each patient’s particular case.
